Modelled after other interview blogs, the journal aims to publish two interviews each week that focus on fiction and art from these fandoms. WHY CREATE AN INTERVIEW JOURNAL? It was created so that fan authors and fan artists would be able to share insights about their works with others. HOW ARE INTERVIEWS CARRIED OUT? The process starts with identifying two authors and/or artists to be featured for a certain week. They are then contacted via LJ or email, and their consent sought. Next, interview questions are drawn up. After the questions have been finalised, they are sent to the interviewee. WHY AREN'T MORE FANS INTERVIEWED EACH WEEK? Most of the interview questions are general, but some of them are written based on the author/ artist's works. It takes time to be familiar with the interviewee's art and fiction, which is why the journal limits interviews to just two per week. WILL ALL AUTHORS AND ARTISTS ON LJ BE INTERVIEWED EVENTUALLY? That is what the journal strives to achieve (bearing in mind that not all fans will want to be interviewed, and that some may have dropped out from the fandom scene). Of course, at the rate of 2 interviews weekly, this may take some time. WHO'S BEHIND THE JOURNAL?
